Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare tied the knot in a registered marriage on January 3, after which the couple also decided to celebrate the occasion in a lavish way. The couple hosted a destination wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan which also included a perfect blend of traditional and unconventional pre-wedding festivities. Among the many functions, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare also hosted a beautiful mehendi ceremony which was attended the entire family of Aamir Khan and Nupur’s family as well as other friends and relatives.
In the past, while Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare shared a few glimpses of this ceremony, on January 30, the new bride also posted some memorable moments she shared with her father Aamir Khan. The photos featured them getting goofy with each other during the wedding ceremony wherein in one photo, Aamir was seen showing off his mehendi which was a replica of the tattoo on Ira’s hand. She posted these photos on her Instagram page, and made a reference to her latest tattoo which is a turtle. She captioned it saying, “Thank god I hadn’t gotten the turtles yet!! We’re such cuties”.
For the unversed, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare recently were enjoying their honeymoon in Bali and the couple also got a tattoo together during which she got two turtles on her collarbone.

Apart from mehendi, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare also hosted a beautiful cocktail dinner as well as pajama party as a part of the celebrations. The entire squad was also seen indulging in some activities within their resort too. The duo tied the knot in a Christian ceremony in Taj Lake Palace and posted a video of them exchanging vows.
