Intel, Italy Said to Be Close to Clinching $5 Billion Deal for Chip Factory: Details

Intel and Italy are said to be close to clinching a $5 billion (roughly Rs. 39,600 crore) deal to build an advanced semiconductor packaging and assembly plant. The company’s investment in Italy is part of its wider plan to invest $88 billion (roughly Rs. 6,97,500 crore) in building capacity across Europe.
