Munjya, the horror-comedy that surprised audiences with its unique blend of CGI, storyline, and performances, has been a box office success. To celebrate this achievement, the cast and crew recently held a bash that was filled with joy and camaraderie.
Several photos and videos from the party have been making the rounds on the internet. The entire team, including lead actors Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma, can be seen beaming with pride. Varun Dhawan, known for his roles in Stree and Bhediya respectively, also joined the festivities. Sharvari’s rumoured beau, Sunny Kaushal, was spotted enjoying the celebration as well.

Dhawan, who recently became a new father to a baby girl, looked stylish in a denim-on-denim outfit. He even grabbed the microphone in one of the videos and showcased his singing talent, belting out Shaan’s popular song ‘Tanha Dil’ with singer Varun Jain. Another clip showed him singing ‘Kesariya’ from Brahmastra, playfully gesturing towards a stunning Shraddha Kapoor, who was dressed in red.
Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma were dancing with the team whilst Sunny Kaushal was recording them. Fans were delighted to see Kaushal’s supportive beau attitude.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan has two exciting films lined up for the future. Baby John, co-starring Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, will be his next project. He will also be seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Janhvi Kapoor, marking their second collaboration after Bawaal. He also has Citadel: Honey Boney with Raj & DK for Prime Video, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in Stree 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the original horror-comedy. The film will reunite the original cast, including Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi. The film will be released in theatres on Independence Day 2024 weekend.
