The filmmaker further added, “Missed it in the theatres, but was able to catch the magic of this cinema on Hotstar. Congratulations to VVC Sir & the entire team & salute to the real & reel Manoj & Shraddha.”
On a similar note, earlier, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, she was asked about her take on the films released in recent years. In her response, she said, “I think there is some fantastic work happening Pan-India. Kantara blew my mind. This year, 12th Fail did very well. I think some innovation is necessary in storytelling. We cannot keep telling similar stories. These days there is an overdose of certain kind of cinema. So, I feel that is so beautiful about 12th Fail. It has surprised everyone.”
