General Hospital is bringing back a familiar face. Lucky Spencer, portrayed by Jonathan Jackson, returns on August 23rd, coming back from what seems to be a dangerous situation possibly connected to the notorious Cassadine family. Lucky’s return might be in time for Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) life and death crisis, but he is not a match for a liver transplant.
GH also sees Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) remain in prison. Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Rocco Falceroni (Finn Frances Carr) might be potential matches. Lucky is in his own life and death drama on General Hospital. And is possibly held captive by the Cassadine family.
The ABC soap opera star Jonathan Jackson mentioned that his return to the show is a substantial run, unlike his brief 2015 return. His return to the show was mainly influenced by his on-screen mother, Genie Francis. As he returns, Lucky seems to be more like his father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), than ever before. His return also sparks the possibility of a reunion with his mother, Laura, and new brother Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). General Hospital’s ratings have been improving and fans are hoping Lucky’s return will continue this trend.
