General Hospital Prediction: Sonny Chooses Ava over Family

General Hospital predictions believe Sonny Corinthos may choose Ava Jerome over everyone else in his life and end up in deep trouble on the ABC sudser.

Sonny Corinthos Closer to Ava Jerome on General Hospital

Recently, on GH Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been getting closer and closer to his baby mama, Ava Jerome (Maura West). Not long ago, he had her move into his penthouse with him and their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Scarola twins).

At that point, the only reason Sonny had Ava living with him was because of the multiple attempts on his life. The mob boss is a target and so are those around him. He wants to protect Ava and Avery, so that’s why he’s keeping them close.

But, currently on General Hospital, the mobster is getting used to having Ava around. And he recently told her several times that he is glad she’s there. He even kissed her. She’s been a sounding board for him and, a sense of comfort and support.

Indeed, this is a time when he needs it most because he feels that everyone is betraying him. First was his son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and his right-hand man Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

Also, his ex-wife Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright), who was working with Michael and Dex. Even though they were all trying to protect him, Sonny sees the secrets and lies as a betrayal.

Plus, it doesn’t help that Michael originally hired Dex to put Sonny in prison. Now, things are getting even more intense because Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is back from the dead — again.

Jason’s Return Devastates Sonny

No doubt, this should be something to celebrate on General Hospital. However, Sonny also believes that Jason is a traitor and he can no longer trust him. He’s having a hard time believing that Jason wasn’t targeting him.

And making matters worse is that he’s an informant for the FBI. So, Sonny is done with him. He is pushing everyone away, and it couldn’t be happening at a worse time. Outside forces are trying to destroy Sonny and they could very well succeed.

Kingpin Spiraling on GH

What Sonny does not know for sure is that it’s Pikeman Security who keeps trying to kill him. He refused to cooperate with them and now they want him out of the way. Another thing he doesn’t know is that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is currently running the show at Pikeman.

Val knows that Sonny suffers from bipolar disorder and he’s using it to his advantage. Recently, he coerced Sonny’s doctor into reducing the effectiveness of his medication. So, he will start to become paranoid and behave erratically on General Hospital.

And that is precisely when Valentin intends to strike and take Sonny out. Whether he kills him or puts him in Pentonville doesn’t matter. Valentin and Pikeman just need the Don out of their way. But, eventually, they want to eliminate Sonny altogether.

So, soon, he’s only going to get worse and spiral further out of control. And because Val is messing with his meds, he won’t be acting like himself. Indeed, it appears he will depend even more on Ava and push away all the “traitors” around him. Most likely that will spell disaster for the mobster.

General Hospital Predictions: Sonny Loses Everyone but Ava?

Recently, Sonny’s deepening connection to Ava has been concerning those closest to him. Everyone seems to be talking about Ava and that she is still living with Sonny. Also, that his trust in her is rapidly growing on GH.

Indeed, they are all worried because they believe Sonny cannot trust Ava — no one can. The fact that their bond is causing so much chatter suggests they will only get closer moving forward.

The list of people Sonny can trust on General Hospital is getting shorter and shorter. Now Ava is one of the very few people he feels he can depend on. It seems he is going to latch onto her, and it will be them against the world.

But as his mental health plummets, that could be dangerous. GH is wildly unpredictable these days. Keep watching to see if Sonny Corinthos gets in deeper with Ava Jerome and isolates himself from everyone who cares about him on the ABC soap opera.
