General Hospital predictions suspect Ava Jerome and Sonny Corinthos might soon become much more than just co-parents on the ABC soap opera.
Currently, on GH, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is estranged from his wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He’s livid with her for snitching on his ex-wife, Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright). He has decades of history with Carly.
They share children, and he’s still protective of her. But, what’s worse is that Nina lied to him for months. Sonny doesn’t tolerate snitches, and he doesn’t usually forgive betrayal. Technically, he and Nina are still married.
But he threw her out of the penthouse. Plus, he told her to stay away from him. No doubt, he needs space on General Hospital. However, while he’s apart from Nina, he’s getting increasingly closer to his baby mama, Ava Jerome (Maura West).
As Sonny keeps his distance from his wife, he’s spending more time with Ava. First, he moved her into his penthouse because someone was stalking her. General Hospital fans may recall that someone killed Austin Holt (Roger Howarth).
Then, sent her a photo of his body with a note saying, “You’re welcome.” On top of that, the person got into her old penthouse and left her a gun. Indeed, it seems someone’s trying to frame her for Austin’s murder.
So, Sonny intends to protect her — for the sake of their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Scarola twins), of course. But, now, they’re facing another threat. So, Sonny wants to bring Ava to his island where she’ll be safe. However, she thinks there’s more to it on General Hospital.
Ava suspects Sonny’s eager to go to Puerto Rico so he can get away from Nina. Indeed, it didn’t sit well with him when he saw Nina getting cozy with her ex-husband, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). And that’s when had the idea to take off.
So, Ava may be on to something. She agreed to go and this could be the start of a new chapter for her and her baby daddy. But it could also end her friendship with Nina if she and Sonny cross a line.
This week, on GH, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) delivers more scary news to Sonny and Ava. Whatever it is, it’s bad because Ava gets scared. So, they may head to PR this week. Then, they’ll surely start to get closer. Sonny is wallowing over Nina, and Ava is single.
Plus, General Hospital spoilers suspect Nina will rekindle her romance with Valentin. So, Ava and Sonny may heat up sooner rather than later. But the Don is still Nina’s husband right now. So, if Ava gets frisky with him, Nina may never forgive her.
