General Hospital Prediction: Who is Ava’s Next Love?

General Hospital predictions believe Ava Jerome‘s going to need a new love interest because Sonny Corinthos may soon cast her aside. But who will she end up with on the ABC daytime drama?

Recently, on GH, Ava Jerome started crushing hard on her daughter’s father, Sonny Corinthos. It began, when Sonny moved her and their daughter, Avery Corinthos, into his penthouse for their safety.

Pikeman has been trying to kill Sonny for a while and they’ve taken several shots. So, of course, he wanted to keep his daughter safe and for her sake, he also tried to keep Ava safe. But as his bipolar spiral began, he pushed everyone in his life away on General Hospital.

He feels betrayed by many people in his circle — people who were the closest to him. Furthermore, he feels Ava is one of the few people he can trust. Of course, she loves that. She loves being in Sonny’s inner circle because for years she’s been an outcast.

Fans will recall that Ava has quite a devious and violent history and she’s hurt Sonny and his family in the past. So, no one likes or trusts her. But, she was ecstatic when Sonny began turning to her and pushing everyone else away.

She went from being an outsider to being his main confidant while everyone else became outsiders. However, that is beginning to change on General Hospital, and Ava doesn’t like it one bit. She can feel Sonny slipping away.

Sonny Ditches Ava on GH?

Things recently took a sharp turn with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He likes his living situation with Ava and their little girl, Avery Corinthos (Scarola twins). And he is very close to Ava now.

But he’s all over the place due to his inadequate bipolar medication. So, he recently snapped at her when she suggested she be his date to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding. He reminded her of her evil past on General Hospital.

And that she killed his ex-wife, Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan). Also, part of the reason Sonny might be pushing Ava away could be because of his growing closeness to Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue). Indeed, he seems quite smitten with Natalia.

He even invited her to attend the “ChaLynn” wedding as his date. Plus, he told Natalia that he and Ava are no more than co-parents when he’s the one who kissed Ava not too long ago. Of course, Ava is fuming because Natalia is stepping on her toes without knowing it.

But Sonny is headed for a breakdown on General Hospital. Eventually, he will get help and his current bond with  Ava will likely change. The closeness they’ve developed may fade and any chance of a romantic connection could be gone. So, at some point, Ava will need to find a new man.

General Hospital Predictions: Who Will Ava Fall for Next?

It seems inevitable that Sonny will eventually kick Ava out of his orbit. When he does, she may find comfort in familiar territory with her ex-husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

No doubt, Nik wants her back, and “Nava” fans would love a reunion for them. But, if not, there are a couple of other possibilities. Perhaps, she’ll cozy up to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to hurt Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Their paths are about to cross again soon on General Hospital. Plus, he’s likely not getting anywhere with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Then, there’s also Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Indeed, that would also stick it to Nina.

Another possibility is John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington). He’s someone new and recently there were some sparks between them. They were angry sparks, but they were sparks just the same. Also, it would infuriate Sonny — maybe even make him jealous.
