General Hospital comings and goings find Cameron Webber back in Port Charles this week as a tragedy rocks the town to its core.
Also, a fan-fave returns and a blast from the past shakes things up on GH. Check out the latest casting changes for the ABC soap opera.
GH casting updates confirm Cameron Webber (William Lipton) comes home from Stanford University this week. But, sadly, it is a heartbreaking tragedy that’s bringing Cam home. Recently, his cousin and good friend, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), was presumed dead.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) called him to break the awful news. And this week, Spencer’s friends and family gather to say goodbye. So, it’s only fitting that Cameron be a part of that.
Cam hasn’t been on General Hospital since William Lipton went off to college in real life. But he always intended to come back. Most likely, his return is be brief but hopefully, he sticks around. Additionally, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is also “dead” and off the canvas.
Plus, Eden McCoy is back in the role of Joss but, her new friend, Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) whose life she saved is off General Hospital for now. But, Joshua won fans over, and his character is a hit. So, he may return.
General Hospital updates see Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) back with his son, Ace Cassadine (Clay twins). And it’s a dream come true for his mom, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis).
Recently, Nik ran off with Ace to protect him from Esme. But now, Esme is gone, so Nik is back home. However, he now must face the reality that his son, Spencer, is “dead” also.
Furthermore, if he he stays in Port Chuck he faces prison time. But hopefully, Nik will stay around for a while. His mom and son need him, and he needs them while he grieves Spencer.
More GH casting changes put legacy character John “Jagger” Cates (formerly Antonio Sabato Jr.) on the scene again after 30 years. But, this time, he looks quite different. The character is now recast with primetime vet, Adam Harrington.
Long-time viewers will recall that Jagger was the brother of Mike “Stone” Cates (Michael Sutton). Also, he was married to Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson) until his affair ended their marriage. Then, she was tragically killed on General Hospital.
Now, FBI agent Jagger, who goes by John, is back, and his return will throw everyone for a loop. GH is heartbreaking this week. Don’t miss a minute to see Cameron Webber’s return on the ABC daytime drama.
