So, this coupled with their shared vendetta against Sonny, seems to be setting the stage for a twist in the relationship between Ava and John. The episode ended on a high note. John promises Ava that Sonny wouldn’t be a problem for her much longer. So this is hinting at a potential romance between Ava and John Jagger Cates.
