General Hospital baddie Alex Merrick may resurface in time for Halloween to terrorize her twin sister, Anna Devane. Last Halloween, Alex popped up and almost killed Anna, and there’s an excellent chance she’ll be back again this year on the ABC sudser.
GH legacy villainess Alex Merrick (Finola Hughes) blindsided her good twin Anna Devane (also Finola Hughes) last Halloween when she showed up in Port Charles and kidnapped her. Then, she stole Anna’s Halloween costume and impersonated her.
She tried to kill Anna and take over her life. Alex had enemies after her and was prepared to live the rest of her life as Anna to escape them. However, Anna managed to break free, and during a struggle on the Haunted Star, Alex went overboard.
So, now, Anna thinks her evil twin is dead on General Hospital. But she should know better. It’s doubtful that Alex died, and she’s bound to return to PC someday. And with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) bent on destroying Anna, now seems like the perfect time for Alex’s return.
Victor is dead and gone on General Hospital however, that’s not stopping him from wreaking havoc on Anna’s life. First, he exposed her past as a double agent for the WSB and DVX to the public and got her kicked out of the bureau.
And now he’s got Valentin Cassadine‘s (James Patrick Stuart) daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), programmed to get rid of Anna. He wants her away from his son, Val, for good.
And he’ll stop at nothing to make it happen. Victor and evil Alex have a connection on General Hospital because they both have ties to the DVX and the WSB. So, there’s a good chance that Vic was in contact with Alex.
And the two of them could have been plotting against Anna. Vic is pulling out all the stops to destroy Anna — even in death. So, his next move might be to bring Alex back to terrorize or even kill her.
Next week, on GH, it’s Halloween in Port Chuck, and it’s almost a certainty that something horrific will happen. Alex could very well already be lurking in town, waiting for the right moment to pounce.
Furthermore, Charlotte is on a mission next week, and Valentin panics. So Charlotte likely has her own devious Halloween plans for Anna. And she may even find herself working with Alex against Anna.
Victor has her convinced that she needs to stop her to protect her Papa on General Hospital. However, the devious teen may end up in over her head. GH is electrifying. Keep watching to see if Alex Merrick shows up again this Halloween on the ABC soap opera.
