Gadar 2 Box Office: Sunny Deol starrer becomes 2nd all-time highest grossing Bollywood movie

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is currently creating havoc at the box office, not only in India but also worldwide. But despite the presence of that film, Gadar 2 has also been holding its own special place at the box office. Remember, the Sunny Deol starrer took the box office by storm in a similar way as soon as it released last month on August 11.

After recently reaching the mammoth Rs. 500 crores mark, Gadar 2 has another feather in its cap. It has now become the second highest grossing Bollywood movie by amassing Rs. 515.03 crores at the India box office so far. In doing so, it has put behind the Hindi version of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which finished its lifetime journey at Rs. 510.99 crores. One needs to note that Gadar 2 has achieved such success despite releasing with OMG 2, which has also made a place for itself at the box office.

The first film in the list of all-time highest grossing films is SRK’s first release of the year Pathaan. The Siddharth Anand directorial is currently sitting pretty with a humongous Rs. 543.05 crores. Interestingly, Khan’s latest release Jawan is expected to top the table in the coming weeks. The movie has gone just over the Rs. 300 crores mark in just 4 days.

Directed by Anil Sharma, produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Productions, Gadar 2 also stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma and Manish Wadhwa in pivotal roles.
