Gadar 2 Box Office Estimate Day 3: The tsunami continues on Sunday; collects Rs. 51 crores

Sunny Deol’s much-awaited masala action entertainer, Gadar 2, is roaring at the Indian Box Office. After scoring an opening of Rs. 40.10 crores on Friday and Rs. 43.08 crores on Saturday, Gadar 2 has shown an approx. 18% jump in collections on Day 3, Sunday. According to early estimates, the Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer has collected in the range of Rs. 49.50 to 51.50 crores on the third day. With this, the three-day total of this epic stands at Rs. 134 crores, and the movie is now set to explode on Independence Day as well.

The film is doing phenomenal business all across the board – be it North, South, East, or West and even multiplexes and single screens. The audience word of mouth seems to be phenomenal. The visuals from the cinema halls indicate a carnival for Gadar 2. The film could go anywhere as far as the lifetime collections are concerned as right now, it seems like a must-watch cinematic event for the audience. Unlike most films which have major contributions from the national multiplex chains [PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis] and barely 20% to 30% from mass sectors, Gadar 2 is simply historic in mass pockets.

Gadar 2 is riding big on the recall value of the first film as the audience is stepping in to see the legend of Tara Singh blast Pakistan in all possible ways. The film will hit Rs. 200 crores in Week 1 itself and could enter the Rs. 300 crore mark quickly. It’s already a blockbuster, and now we need to see how big it emerges in the coming time.
