Father’s Day 2024: Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and other celebs pen heartfelt tribute to their hero

Sunday, June 16, marked Father’s Day in India, and Bollywood celebrities took to social media to shower their fathers with love and appreciation. Heartfelt posts featuring throwback photos and touching messages flooded social media platforms. Director Karan Johar posted a throwback photo with the caption, “Forever using your love, grace, ambition, humility and compassion to guide me in every aspect of my life, papa.”

Sanjay Dutt, who lost his father and veteran actor Sunil Dutt in 2005, shared a throwback photo of them together. His message read, “Always miss you and the beautiful memories we have made. I am grateful for everything that you have taught me and I try to pass on the same to my kids.”

Actress Bipasha Basu also paid tribute to her late father, Hirnik Basu, with a childhood photo and the caption, “No one like my Papa.” Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor shared a photo with his father, producer Boney Kapoor, writing, “Wishing you a Happy Father’s Day.” Actress Rakul Preet Singh shared a video of her father, Lt. Col. Kulvinder Singh, expressing, “Happy Father’s Day to the man who taught me strength, integrity, and the power of standing up for what’s right. You’ve been my greatest inspiration and the guiding light in my life.”

Madhuri Dixit shared a photo with her father, Shankar Dixit, and wrote, “A father is someone you look up to no matter how tall you grow.” Scroll down to take a look:
