This peek into the production process has increased anticipation for Farhan’s return to acting. Earlier, Farhan Akhtar had announced 120 Bahadur with a motion poster on Instagram, featuring the text, “Vo teen the… Aur hum? 120 Bahadur.” Directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai, 120 Bahadur marks Farhan’s return to acting following his last film, Toofaan, released in 2021.
In his caption, Farhan Akhtar expressed his honor in bringing the story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment to the screen. The film, focused on the Battle of Rezang La fought on November 18, 1962, during the Indo-China War, showcases the exceptional courage and selflessness of the soldiers.
Farhan also recognized the support of the Indian Army and pledged to portray their story with respect and dignity. 120 Bahadur is a military action film centered on the Battle of Rezang La, offering a vivid depiction of this significant historical battle.
On the work front, Farhan is also directing Don 3, which stars Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
