Gauri Khan has made a name for herself in the industry while successfully balancing her roles as a mother and wife. Over time, she has evolved from being known as Mrs. Shah Rukh Khan to becoming a prominent figure in interior design and film production. Born Gauri Chibber on October 8, 1970, in New Delhi to a Punjabi family, she met Shah Rukh Khan in their teenage years, and their relationship quickly flourished, leading to their marriage on October 25, 1991, before Shah Rukh’s film career took off.
Today, Gauri is the main producer and co-owner of films under their production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. Some notable films produced under the banner include Om Shanti Om, Main Hoon Na, Happy New Year, and Dear Zindagi.
Farah Khan, known for directing stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, recently commented on how on-set needs have evolved over the years, highlighting the luxurious upgrades in vanity vans, now equipped with features like gyms and kitchens.
She also discussed the extravagant demands of some movie stars, including the need for multiple vanity vans for both themselves and their entourage, giving a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes requirements of actors today.
