EXCLUSIVE: Vicky Kaushal on working with Rashmika Mandanna in Chhava: “She’s full of warmth and positivity”

Vicky Kaushal is currently riding high on the success of his recent comedy, Bad Newz. The actor, known for his intense portrayals, surprised audiences with his comic timing in the film. However, his focus is now on his upcoming historical drama, Chhava, where he will be seen as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj opposite Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai. In a recent conversation, Vicky couldn’t help but gush about his co-star.

Chhava is a highly ambitious project, and the pairing of Vicky and Rashmika has already generated significant buzz. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Vicky Kaushal was asked about Rashmika, where he said, “She’s amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever met a person who’s just so full of warmth and positivity all the time. I used to tell her that when she comes [to the set] there’s just a vibe of positivity. She’s the sweetest person and the most collaborative person. I really had a great time working with her on Chhava. Whenever we meet each other, we can’t keep a straight face. We just start smiling. She’s full of joy all the time. I don’t know how she manages that but she’s just that person.”

Chhava will most probably be releasing this year. The film, based on the life of the Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is one of the most anticipated projects of Vicky’s career. He is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.
