EXCLUSIVE: Rasika Dugal calls Humorously Yours a “fun and easy breezy watch” ahead of the season 3 release

Humorously Yours’, a slice-of-life comedy-drama, is based on the real-life experiences of Vipul Goyal, a stand-up comedian. Armed with a beautiful and supportive wife, Kavya, an eccentric but fiercely loyal friend and confidant, Bhushi, and an old college junior turned Manager, Lamba, the show revolves around all the drama behind the comedy. Vipul Goyal, Rasika Dugal, and Abhishek Banerjee are all set to return with the third season of the show.

Ahead of the release of Humorously Yours season 3, Rasika briefly spoke about the show. Here’s an excerpt:

How do you deal with the challenges/failures in your personal and professional life?

I don’t have one mantra or one way of dealing with things. This changes so much according to how I am feeling about myself at that time or what my recent experiences have been. So, this part of life has to be improvised! And it’s always a work in progress.”

We see that there are cameos from a lot of comedians such as Bassi, Johnny Lever, and Harsh Gujral. How was it working with them? Any memorable incident?

Unfortunately, I didn’t have scenes with any of them this season. Though I would have loved to! I was so excited when I found out that they were doing cameos in the show. Maybe next season.”

With so much content out there, why should viewers invest their time in watching Humorously Yours S3?

Who doesn’t need humor. Humorously Yours is a fun and easy breezy watch. And I think it will find its audience despite the clutter.

Coming back to the show, it will start streaming on Zee5 from December 22 onwards.
