Rising star Rishabh Sawhney, fresh off his antagonist role in Siddharth Anand’s action-packed Fighter, surprised fans with his character swap choice in a recent Bollywood Hungama interview.
During a rapid-fire round, posed the intriguing question: “If you could swap lives with any character from a Siddharth Anand film, who would it be?” Without hesitation, Sawhney named Ranbir Kapoor’s charming character from Bachna Ae Haseeno. Released in 2008, the rom-com featured Ranbir Kapoor as a young playboy, who met three women at at different stages in his life.
Further praising his co-stars, Sawhney described the on-screen chemistry between Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan in Fighter as “scintillating” and “charming.” He elaborated, “They look so good together,” highlighting their undeniable presence on screen.
In a separate “either/or” segment, Sawhney had to pick between two popular action films: War and the recently released Pathaan. He ultimately chose Pathaan.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, Fighter was released on January 25, 2024. Besides Rishabh, Deepika and Hrithik, the film also features Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi also star in pivotal roles.
This film marked Hrithik and Deepika’s first on-screen collaboration. Meanwhile, Hrithik and Siddharth Anand have previously delivered hits like Bang Bang and War, while he collaborated with Deepika on Pathaan.
