EXCLUSIVE: Crew writers Mehul Suri and Nidhi Mehra say, “Viewers may watch the film 3 times to fully appreciate each actress’s contribution”

Filmmaker Rajesh Krishnan’s Crew is releasing tomorrow. There is keen anticipation for the film as the audience is excited to see Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon together. Apart from the audience, the film’s writers Mehul Suri and Nidhi Mehra too are on cloud nine to have the three actresses on board for their script.

Mehul and Nidhi told Bollywood Hungama in an exclusive joint statement, “Crafting a multi-generational ensemble was truly exhilarating for us. The synergy among the actresses was simply breathtaking, making the film a visual feast. Their performances are so intricately woven that viewers may find themselves watching three times over just to fully appreciate each actress’s contribution. It’s a testament to the beauty and depth of the storytelling.”

Interestingly, director Rajesh Krishnan had recently said about the three actresses, “To me, Kareena, Tabu and Kriti are no different from Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.”

When asked about this, he told Bollywood Hungama exclusively, “Come to think of it. Three stalwarts have come under one roof. It’s a great achievement on our part. Tabu started in the 90s. Kareena debuted in the year 2000 with Refugee. And Kriti started her career 10 years ago. So, we have actresses from three different decades. Once you see the film, it’s hard to tell who is younger than the other! They competed in being more fun.”

Crew is all set to release in cinemas tomorrow on March 29.
