Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has piqued audience interest ever since its inception. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the film’s talented music team unveils the creative process behind the soundtrack, offering fascinating insights and revealing the global impact of its music. One of the standout tracks is the Punjabi number ‘Arjan Vailly,’ crooned by Bhupinder Babbal and composed by Manan Bhardwaj.
Speaking about his experience, Babbal shared, “I used to sing before too, but singing a song for a Hindi film is a big thing for me. In my experience, I did the work and people forgot about it; I was in Canada during that time. When my song came in the film, it was a major step in my life. But when the pre-teaser was released, it became a hype. I had never discussed YouTube much. YouTubers across the world were talking about the song.”
His voice, raw and brimming with emotion, perfectly captures the film’s wild energy. “I think my stars are Sandeep sir, Manan Bhardwaj and my son Remet Marwaha, because of whom this song was created,” Babbal added. “Earlier a few people knew my face, now, I think in the last month, I have visited multiple cities and countries, and people have started recognising me from my face. This has made me very happy.”
For the unversed, ‘Arjan Vailly’ arrives during the pre-interval. Released on December 1, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. In addition to this, Triptii Dimri and Shakti Kapoor also played pivotal roles.
