Ektaa R Kapoor set to receive International Emmy Directorate Award from Deepak Chopra: “Excited to get an award from someone I truly admire and respect”

Making headlines and adding another accolade to her illustrious career, Ektaa R Kapoor, the trailblazing Content Czarina of India, is scheduled to receive the prestigious International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmys in New York on November 20, 2023. Adding a touch of spiritual significance to the occasion, renowned author and new age leader, Deepak Chopra, has been chosen to present this esteemed award to Kapoor.

In a testament to her impact on global culture, Deepak Chopra spoke glowingly about Ektaa Kapoor, stating that her influence extends beyond mere entertainment. He emphasized that Kapoor’s contributions have sparked a human revolution, making her a deserving recipient of such an esteemed recognition. In an interview with a leading portal, Chopra expressed his pleasure at witnessing Kapoor’s achievements being celebrated, highlighting the profound honour he feels in presenting her with the International Emmy 2023 Directorate Award.

Ektaa Kapoor, known for her pioneering work in the entertainment industry, reciprocated the admiration for Chopra, expressing her excitement at receiving an award from someone she truly admires and respects. She also added, “I am excited to have an award presented to me by such a visionary and hopefully have him share some thoughts on how I can get myself in better shape. God knows I need it. The pressures of daily work and life take away simple joys and of course, Deepak and his books align you and teach you how to keep both sides of life aligned and happy. I am very happy and excited to get an award from someone I truly admire and respect.”

Reflecting on her journey, Kapoor remarked on the changing landscape of India when she entered the industry. She highlighted the role of her content in empowering women and fostering a cultural shift. “I think I came in at a time when India was changing and developing, where women were finding their voice. She was finding her grit and tenacity again, finding her footing again, and so were the women. The content we created slowly pushed the mindset for women to really take a big step forward. I think an industry or a business actually stemmed out of this need that no one addressed,” she adds.
