The Ayushmann Khurrana-led Dream Girl 2 has passed the Monday test with flying colors as according to early estimates, the comic caper has collected in the range of Rs. 4.75 to 5.25 crores on its fourth day taking the total collections to approx. Rs. 45 crore. The hold is there across the board, especially the multiplexes and this is a positive sign indicating a good run for the film at the box office.
The film is now a success story and is on its course to do a lifetime business of Rs 80 crores or more. The good times are back for Bollywood as also Ayushmann Khurrana as Dream Girl 2 has got back his glorious days at the box office. The film has done well without any sort of corporate bookings or self-buying and this is a great sign for the betterment of business in the film industry.
Dream Girl 2 is the 7th successful film at the box office after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Gadar 2, The Kerala Story and OMG 2 and also keeps the franchise value of the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial intact. The film will be steady on Tuesday as well and then see a spike in business on Wednesday on the occasion of the Raksha Bandhan Holiday.
The film will pack a punch with first-week business of around Rs. 60 crores, making it a successful film within just 7 days.
