Popular actress Drashti Dhami had a rather special Diwali considering that the actress became a mother about ten days ago. The actress, who made her social media fam a part of her pregnancy journey, excitedly welcomed a daughter on October 22 and shared the news with everyone on the platform. Now, as the occasion of Diwali has neared its end, Dhami dropped a wishing post for her fans along with also sharing a photo with her daughter.
Drashti Dhami couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her first Diwali with her daughter and posted on Instagram, a photo of her dressed in a blue ethnic kurti, pretty and tradition danglers, with her husband Neeraj Khemka adding colour with his yellow kurta. Meanwhile, the actress was seen holding her baby with her back facing towards the camera. She also shared a sneak peek of her daughter’s room which is quite monochrome and nature themed with sketches of animals being drawn on the wall.
In the caption, the otherwise active social media user, also shared how she would be late for things, now that she is a parent. She wrote on the post, “Gonna be a little late for a while to all the parties ! Nevertheless Happy Diwali from me and mine and MINE… To you and your” and along with that she also dropped diya, evil-eye, and heart emojis. The picture also received much love from many of her friends and colleagues from the industry that includes bestie Nakuul Mehta, Sonali Bendre, Jennifer Winget, Karan V Grover, Puja Banerjee, Sunayana Fozdar, Pooja Gor, among others.
