The pre-release event of filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal in Hyderabad saw a sea of fans turning up to witness the cast of the film – Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna – along with the director himself. The added bonus was the presence of some huge names from the south film industry in the form of SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.
During the course of the event, Sandeep Reddy Vanga made a few promises about Animal and also gave some instructions on how best can one enjoy the film. He said, “All I want to promise you is that this will be the best father-son love story; a love story which you have never seen. And don’t worry about the length. (In) every frame, you will be entertained because we have great actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Anil sir, Bobby sir and Rashmika. And don’t miss the beginning.” For those not in the know, the length of Animal is 3 hours and 21 minutes.
Vanga also made some comparisons between Animal and his previous Telugu film Arjun Reddy, which he later remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh. “For example, in Arjun Reddy, the girl came home and the angst got settled. (But) this (Animal) is a kind of story where the angst is not settled yet. So, all I want to say is come to the theatres on December 1 and enjoy every frame.”
Animal is all set to release in theatres on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
