The action-packed saga Deadpool & Wolverine released in theatres worldwide on Friday July 26. The film was keenly awaited all over, especially in India where it has a high fan following. The wait and the hype has turned out to be worth as the film has impressed the audiences and thereby taken a great start at the box office.
Deadpool & Wolverine has been warmly embraced by audiences globally and it is going very strong at the Indian box office. In fact, the film has already crossed the lifetime collections of Deadpool 1 in the country which was Rs. 40.79 crores GBOC (Gross Box Office Collection) in just two days. This speaks volumes about the movies’s anticipation and excitement in India.
In India, the film has shown a strong upward trend, with this dynamic duo clocking in a fantastic Rs 56.36 crores GBOC in its first two days, (Day 1- Rs 27.10 crores GBOC and Day 2- Rs 29.26 crores GBOC). If the film can do so well on Friday and Saturday, one can expect the box office numbers and footfalls to be much higher today on a Sunday. Hence, the film is expected to earn quite higher than its Saturday number.
