Crew Box Office: Film stays quite good on Saturday too, maintains its momentum

Crew has picked up momentum further, and how. After surprising one and all with Rs. 10.28 crores coming in on Friday, the film actually went on to add further to these numbers. Considering the fact that it was Good Friday partial holiday on the opening day, it already had an advantage of around 30% on its side. Hence, even if the collections on Saturday had stayed the same as Friday, it would have meant a growth of around 30% on a fair value basis. Still, there is growth which has come in which shows yet again that the film has been loved by the audience.

With Rs. 10.87 crores coming on Saturday, the game is set for the Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer. The three women have attracted audiences towards them, and how. Moreover, it has to be added that the smart marketing approach by Ekta Kapoor ensured that there was very good interest generated amongst the aam junta. Instead of going overboard, it was all compact and smart marketing for the film in a limited time period, and that was good enough to ensure that good awareness was created around it.

The Rajesh Krishnan film has now reached the score of Rs. 21.06 crores and rest assured, there is a lot more that will come. Today the numbers will rise all over again which should take the film comfortably past the Rs. 30 crores mark. Post that Rs. 50 crores will come in a jiffy as well and it would be by the close of Week One that bets would start getting placed on whether the film will have a real chance of entering the Rs. 100 Crore Club in its lifetime.
