Chandu Champion Box Office: Kartik Aaryan starrer has very good day on day growth over the weekend, will aim to cross Rs. 30 crores today

In its first weekend, Chandu Champion has gone past Rs. 20 crores at the box office. This was aided by excellent growth that came in on Sunday due to a couple of factors coming into picture. First and foremost, the film has seen very good word of mouth amongst the audiences. Secondly, with Monday being a partial holiday due to Eid, evening and night shows on Sunday saw better occupancy. As a result, the film benefitted by at least Rs. 1 crore.

This reflected in the collections of the film which came to Rs. 11.01 crores. The need of the hour for the film was to hit double digit at least once in its weekend and that has now happened indeed. Of course, given the kind of scale and budget that Chandu Champion carries as well as the content that it boasts of a double-digit score on each of the days over the weekend would have been most ideal. However, box office has been quite unpredictable at least from the opening perspective, especially in 2024, and hence it’s the trending which matters the most.

That’s where Kartik Aaryan, Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala would be focusing on since the film has the right critical acclaim and audience appreciation to take it past the safety mark when it comes to theatrical business. For that the trending would be of paramount importance and Saturday & Sunday have infused life into the proceedings. Today would be good as well due to partial holiday of Eid and closer it is to the Saturday score of Rs. 7.70 crores, the better it would be for Chandu Champion to grow on top of Rs. 24.11 crores that it has collected so far and go past Rs. 30 crores by close of its extended weekend.
