RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Wednesday said that the introduction of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) would be a major transformation in the way business transactions are conducted and highlighted. The governor’s comments came a day after the RBI announced the launch of the trial of India’s digital currency in the country.
