Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest Deacon Sharpe slowly takes on some of Sheila Carter‘s traits, and why not, everyone thought she’d be a bad influence on the CBS soap.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is off-limits to Finn. That’s because Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forbids him to go anywhere near her.
Steffy believes Sheila will lead John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) astray. Last week on Bold and the Beautiful, the Forrester daughter was sickened by Sheila’s influence over Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
But Deacon and Sheila look like a couple of lovebirds, out to hurt no one. Still, some fans believe they are being selfish to their adult children.
Sheila worked on Finn all week on Bold and the Beautiful. She was bound and determined to have her son at her wedding. Deacon felt the same about his daughter, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Unlike Finn, Hope doesn’t have a spouse breathing fire and giving ultimatums. Nevertheless, she was uncomfortable about attending the wedding and even more so about standing up for Sheila.
Deacon saw his daughter struggle with his request. But he pushed her to attend his wedding. He even went further by pushing Hope to stand up for Sheila. If you truly love your daughter, would you put her in that position? Or would you understand and not put pressure on her?
And while Deacon loves Hope, fans think his nine-toed bride is becoming an influence over him. But, as some Bold and the Beautiful fans think Deacon Sharpe was selfish last week, Sheila Carter took the cake.
Sheila Carter continues to tell her son how much she loves him. Yet, she also continues to make life miserable for him. He told her over and over again that his loyalty is to his wife. She also knows how he sees Steffy and the kids as his entire life.
Sure, it might be selfish of his wife to demand he cut his mother out of his life, but she has reason to fear her. Sheila Carter knows her son is happy. But she also knows her interference could ruin that. But instead of backing down and respecting John Finnegan’s wishes, Sheila pushes for a relationship with him.
She got her way at the wedding once her son showed up. She wouldn’t take no for an answer. Then Deacon joined his bride and pressured him to stay. Next, he sealed the deal by handing him those rings. So, Deacon forced him into performing the duty of his best man.
Today, some Bold and the Beautiful fans see a couple of selfish parents in Deacon Sharpe and Sheila Carter. If these two continue to put their happiness ahead of their kids, this could cause some problems on the CBS soap.
