Bold and the Beautiful: Finn Finds Hole in Li’s Lame Job Loss Story?

Bold and the Beautiful had Li Finnegan tell Finn the story of what her sister did to her many years ago, but something doesn’t add up for him. That’s probably because of the way she treats Luna Nozawa, who had nothing to do with the story she told John Finnegan.

Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan Stuns Finn

Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) told Finn a story about her sister almost ruining her medical career years back. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) pushed his mother to tell him why she wanted his cousin and her niece to leave Forrester Creations.

So. Li told him the story of her sister having an affair with the chief of surgery at the hospital where she worked years ago. Li got her sister, Poppy, a job in the gift shop at that hospital. So this Bold and the Beautiful backstory for Li goes bad when her sister’s affair is discovered. Then Li Finnegan was blamed.

This is the story she gave Finn this week on Bold and Beautiful. But she added that her shifts became less and less at that hospital. Then they finally transferred Li to another hospital. So, Li was dealt the punishment because her sister had that affair.

Finn looked a bit stunned while his mother told the story. But it still doesn’t explain why she turned her back on Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

B&B Spoilers: Li, Finn, and Luna Nozawa Story Paves Path?

It looks like Finn can’t follow his mother down the hatred path that leads to Luna. John Finnegan may soon find a gaping hole in her story about Poppy, his aunt. Bold and the Beautiful usually has a good reason for taking up precious minutes of the soap to offer a backstory.

When B&B spins a backstory like this, it usually comes with a shocking secret as well. But if this is all there is to Finn’s mother’s story, then there’s likely another reason for it.

This new intern is falling for RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), and it looks as if he is falling hard for her as well. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is one hovering mother when it comes to her kids. So far, she doesn’t know about RJ and Luna. But when she does find out, there’s no reason for Brooke to meddle. But Finn’s mother may be aiming to fix that.

So, this elaborate and rather odd backstory highlights Li’s disdain for her niece. But it has to be for a reason. Maybe Bold and the Beautiful needs a storyline for RJ. He’s certainly been hanging around long enough without too much substance to his scenes. So, if Li Finnegan gets into Brooke’s ear about her niece being someone she should find undesirable for RJ, then a battle ensues likely between RJ and his mother.

Li is certainly desperate to get Luna out of town. So if she rattles Brooke into joining forces, maybe that would work, or so the doctor might think. But this seems a bit too elaborate just to taint RJ’s mother against his new girlfriend. Instead, maybe a hidden secret about Finn and his cousin is on the way.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Li Finnegan’s Backstory Doesn’t Add Up?

It doesn’t seem that B&B would go to such great lengths with a lame story to explain why this aunt hates her niece so much. The soap takes this intelligent doctor, Li Finnegan, and has her despise her niece.

But it is for something her sister did a long time ago. Plus she keeps telling Luna if she doesn’t leave then she knows what will happen. But what?

It’s possible Li helps support her sister and will stop doing so if Luna doesn’t leave. It’s also possible that the intern’s aunt knows something about Poppy that could get her in trouble. But whatever is going on, it sounds like this aunt holds something over the intern’s head.

Or, perhaps this niece doesn’t know the real reason her aunt wants her out of town. So, maybe this all leads to a deep dark secret about to come out on Bold and the Beautiful It sounds like this has something to do with Finn as well. His mother was originally very worried about Finn knowing his cousin was working as an intern at FC.

When RJ told Li that he called Finn in for support, this seemed to bring a sense of urgency to John Finnegan’s mother, who seems to talk in riddles these days. Finn’s parents are no longer together, but his mother brought up Jack Finnegan (Ted King) not so long ago.

B&B Spoilers: Keeping Finn From the Truth?

Li Finnegan blamed Jack for all of Finn’s problems with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). She also brought up Jack betraying her. But it’s almost as if Bold and Beautiful needed to remind viewers that Jack strayed at least once in his marriage.  So, maybe he did it more than once?

It’s possible that Luna is Jack’s daughter, which would explain the level of hatred she has for her sister. Plus it would also explain why she wants to keep John Finnegan away from Luna so he doesn’t find out. If Jack did have a fling with Li’s sister resulting in Luna’s birth, then that makes her Finn’s half-sister.

So, while Finn’s mother continues to bash her sister and niece, Luna may think it is something else driving her aunt’s hatred. But instead, it may be that she reminds her aunt of her mother betraying her with Jack. This hatred for her niece seems to suggest much more of an explosive storyline. Li Finnegan’s sister having an affair with a random doctor many moons ago just doesn’t cut it for many fans of this CBS soap.
