Bigg Boss 18 contestant Arfeen Khan played Katrina Kaif’s brother in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan; scenes go viral

While fans were quite excited to see life coach of Hrithik Roshan – Arfeen Khan making an entry into the Bigg Boss 18 house, he was accompanied by his wife Sara who has been a known face on Indian television and movies. But did you know that Arfeen too was a part of movies? Well, social media users noted one of his known performances which was in the Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

In this romantic comedy directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Arfeen Khan played Ajju Bhaiya, the on-screen brother of Katrina Kaif. The videos from the film resurfaced online following Arfeen’s fame from Bigg Boss 18, leaving fans merely surprised. The movie starred Ali Zafar too in a lead role along with Kat and Imran Khan. Although it wasn’t the lead, Arfeen played a key extended cameo in the movie of an autistic brother of Katrina, who is quite close to her character and helps Dimple and Kush in completing their love story. Now, with clips of his performance going viral, fans are not only showering love on it but also wondering why he didn’t pursue acting further.

While Arfeen has yet to respond to the newfound attention, his fans are enjoying this delightful throwback. The buzz has also brought fresh attention to Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and its quirky characters, making Aju Bhaiya also one of the internet favourites.

Speaking of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, the film follows Kush Agnihotri (Khan), who while scouting a potential bride for the elder Luv Agnihotri (Ali Zafar), bumps into Dimple Dixit (Kaif); she and Luv are due to get married, but difficulties arise when she and Kush develop feelings for each other in the days leading up to the wedding.
