Bidaai actress Sara Khan opens up about sharing the load after marriage; says, “The best way is to participate together and succeed”

Sara Khan opened up that both men and women need to work in partnership to build their careers and have a happy home. She says that one cannot function without the other.  “Women choose to sacrifice a portion of their careers in order to tend to their babies and manage household responsibilities,” said Khan.

“This decision is not due to external pressure, but because of societal expectations influenced by the experiences of past generations of women who were confined to a submissive lifestyle under the authority of their families, all while upholding a certain image. Although it may seem simple to demand freedom, it is important to question who exactly we should be asking. I have observed that one woman often belittles another, hence we should not rely on others for equality. Instead, both men and women should share equal responsibilities,” she continued.

She added, “It’s important to support each other equally. When a woman can take care of both, why can men do the same? If a woman is a housewife and a man brings the money, then a woman’s emotional support is considered as a participation for his success.”

She continued to strive women are unstoppable once they make up their minds. “I believe yes when a woman decides to proceed in life nothing can stop her and despite having kids India is a fastest growing country and we have more options to work everything out! The best way is to participate together and succeed both men and women! No one should consider themselves superior. We keep saying this world is about equality but saying and believing are two different things,” concluded the actress.
