Since its premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 26, 2024, the comedy thriller has taken the nation by storm, with a record-breaking 14 million viewers. This latest season has not only captivated audiences with its gripping storyline and stellar cast but has also outperformed popular shows like The Rings of Power, which now holds the second position and The Great Indian Kapil Show in third.
Led by the versatile Bhuvan Bam, the cast of Taaza Khabar Season 2 features seasoned talents including Jaaved Jaaferi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Prathamesh Parab, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Deven Bhojani, bringing their unique energy to this intriguing comedy thriller.

Following the phenomenal success of Taaza Khabar Season 2, Indian OTT has seen a reshuffling of popular shows, with The Rings of Power and The Great Indian Kapil Show now in the second and third spots, respectively. Sector 36, starring Vikrant Massey, holds the sixth position, while Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam, the Tamil adaptation of Panchayat, completes the top rankings.
