Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office: Kartik Aaryan starrer is the 3rd highest opener of 2024

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 arrived in 2022 at a time when Bollywood was going through a rough patch in terms of box office success. The Kartik Aaryan starrer not only broke the shackles but also went onto become one of the biggest hits of the year. Hence, there were expectations from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. But the horror comedy went beyond that and ended up with a big opening day figure of Rs. 36.60 crores.

By doing that, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has become the third highest opener of 2024. The biggest opener this year was Stree 2, which was a major surprise with Rs. 55.40 crores. The second film in the list is Singham Again with Rs. 43.70 crores. The Ajay Devgn-starrer clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office on November 1.

By achieving this number, the Kartik starrer has comfortably put behind the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter, which, released in January, had opened at Rs. 24.60 crores. The film is on the fourth position. Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD is on number five with Rs. 22.50 crores.

Considering the positive response at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to become a major success. Produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, the movie also stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles.
