Yesteryear star Bhagyashree decided to create a look inspired from the evergreen diva Rekha for her latest photoshoot. Bhagyashree who has had immense respect for Rekha has expressed her admiration for the Umrao Jaan actress’ timeless charm. The Maine Pyaar Kiya actress decided to pay a tribute of sorts by opting for this look.
The entire look, which was styled by the ace-stylist Kishan Pandya, is completely a royal affair seemed as if it was inspired by the Missing Royals. It seems that they wanted the grandeur and opulence the Indian Royals had to be reflected in this photoshoot too. The Kalidaar sported by Bhagyashree was four layers of concentric fabric. With a fitted empire bodice and Chudidaar sleeves, the layered jewellery that is seen in the image is Uncut Polki. The colour chosen was ivory beige with a hint of golden embroidery and a pure silk dupatta to drape it with. In the end, it seems as if the actress is performing some graceful dance moves in a candid sort of photoshoot.
She also posted about her love and admiration for the yesteryear actress in a special post on social media, wherein she captioned the photo saying, “Nothing can beat the ever so versatile Rekhaji. Some months ago I chanced upon a picture of hers in Vogue.. and I couldn’t get it off my mind.
I know its nothing close to the original but I just had to give it a try.”

The actress is currently exploring different kinds of roles in Indian Cinema.
