The Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has seen a major drop in collections on day 2. According to early estimates, the film has collected in the range of Rs. 6.50 crore to 7 crore on the second day, taking two-day total collections to Rs 22.75 crore.
The film has come down despite the benefit of Basi Eid, and this signals rejection from the audience. The budgets are on the higher side and this sort of drop in numbers on 2nd Day suggests all is not well at the box office. The lifetime collections of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be under the Rs. 75 crore mark and this is a very poor result for an action film with two big stars like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The director, Ali Abbas Zafar is also a brand name and hence these numbers are a shocker.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be looking at an opening weekend of Rs. 35 to 37 crores, and it’s the Monday test which will determine the lifetime.
