The Karan Johar produced Bad Newz is set to bring good news at the box office on its opening day. The advance bookings opened yesterday, and the response has been overwhelming to say the least. As per latest set of data received, Bad News has sold 8500 tickets in the top 3 national chains – PVR Inox & Cinepolis – as on Wednesday at 10 AM.
The film has sold over 8000 tickets in 24 hours and is on track to record good advance at ticket window. The advance booking is around 50% higher than Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya as on Wednesday morning and if this momentum continues, film is set to take a start around the Rs 8 crore mark in Hindi.
There is buzz and excitement among the cinema going audience and now if the content lands, its set to emerge a major success story for the makers. The box office was bleeding with the release of Sarfira and Hindustani 2, but Bad News is now set to bring cheers at the box office on Friday.
