Baby John trailer launch: Atlee speaks about “proper message” on women’s safety and parenting in Varun Dhawan starrer; says, “We have given a solution”

The much-anticipated trailer of Baby John was unveiled at a grand event in Pune, generating significant excitement among fans and industry professionals alike. Produced by the visionary filmmaker Atlee, who is renowned for his impactful storytelling, the film is set to address crucial social issues while delivering a thrilling cinematic experience.

Atlee’s Vision for Baby John
Atlee, who has directed several blockbuster films with strong messages, expressed his excitement about Baby John and the message it conveys. During the event, the filmmaker revealed the core theme of the film, which focuses on women’s safety—an issue that has been prevalent in society for the past decade.

“We are very proud and happy. The reason is we have come with a proper message… This film talks about women’s safety. And what we have seen in the recent past and for the last 10-12 years, something which is unacceptable. And we have given a voice out and we have given a solution to it,” Atlee shared. He emphasized the importance of good parenting as the foundation of societal change, stating, “If we have good parenting in society, I think we will change society in the next generation at least. And nothing will repeat again.”

He further encouraged the audience to watch the film, saying, “Please do come to the theatre and watch it on December 25th. You’re going to come to the theatre to get entertained, but you will have something to take home.”

The trailer launch event was a star-studded affair, with the lead actors, Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi, joining the filmmakers on stage. Set to hit theaters on December 25, 2024, Baby John is a production of A For Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios. The film is presented by Jio Studios in association with Atlee and Cine1 Studios. Directed by Kalees, Baby John is expected to be one of the biggest releases of the year, thanks to its star power and the highly anticipated collaboration between Atlee and Varun Dhawan.
