Actors Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, child actor Zara Zyanna, director Kalees and producers Atlee, Priya Atlee and Murad Khetani attended the entertaining press conference of Baby John at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. The film releases on Christmas and hence, the press conference doubled up as a ‘Christmass bash’.
One of the USPs of Baby John is the cameo of Salman Khan. Its glimpse was shown in the trailer and it added to the excitement surrounding the film.
Varun Dhawan was asked about it during the question-and-answer round with the media. Varun said, “It was a great and one of its kind experience. Aaj kal log sirf Instagram pe collaboration kar rahe hai. But we did a proper collaboration in a film. Hence, it felt good. He has the largest heart in our business. I am sure when the fans see the film, they’ll be very pleased.”
When asked if Salman Khan complimented him, Varun Dhawan imitated him perfectly which became a highlight of the event. Varun replied, “He never compliments anyone directly. He just saw me and said, ‘Baby John’ (imitates Salman). Bada ho gaya hai baby’!”
The other memorable moment of the event was when Varun offered to give the mic to the child actor Zara Zyanna when a journalist asked her a question. Varun also tried protecting Zara from the smoke spread in the venue for dramatic effect in the beginning and it made for a cute sight.
Baby John releases in cinemas on December 25.
