Actors Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, child actor Zara Zyanna, director Kalees and producers Atlee, Priya Atlee and Murad Khetani attended the entertaining press conference of Baby John at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. The film releases in Christmas and hence, the press conference doubled up as a ‘Christmass bash’.
All the team members seemed in a fun mood and pulled each other’s leg. At the same time, they also spoke highly of one another. Varun Dhawan said, “People don’t know the real Wamiqa. Yeh khuli nahin hai sabke saamne abhi tak.”
He added, “Keerthy used to rag me. I used to try ragging Wamiqa but I used to get ragged in return.”
Varun Dhawan continued, “Keerthy is a gundi. She told me, ‘Tu auto mein chal. Kya gaadi mein jaa raha hai? Star hai kya?’. She and I toured in the auto and did bharat darshan. At night, she was like ‘Sea Link nahin dekha. Sea Link jaana chahiye.’”
At this point, Keethy Suresh retorted, “And we did that in an auto?” Varun Dhawan replied, “No, obviously. We went to the Sea Link in the car.”
On a serious note, Keethy Suresh added, “Varun is a great human being. Like Wamiqa said, he comforts you a lot. He’s happy when you are happy. And all said and done, he does pull your leg a lot. He did rag me. Though he says that I rag him too much. Really?”
Varun Dhawan nodded and laughed and Keerthy replied, “Main shaadi karke aayi hoon. So, I am sitting very decently!”
Baby John releases in cinemas on December 25.
