Arjun Kapoor is basking in the success of his latest release, Singham Again, where he plays the intriguing character Danger Lanka. The actor has been receiving a flood of praise for his performance, not just from critics and fans but also from unexpected sources.
Reflecting on the heartwarming feedback, Arjun shared, “Like the guy who repairs phones, my car dealer for example, the GMs of hotels I have stayed in. I have gotten those messages after so many years. They have gone to theatres, they have seen my film in the theatre with their families, and have really liked it”
For Arjun, this response holds a deeper meaning, as it brings him closer to his audience in a traditional cinema setting. “So, I have grown up in theatres, I mean I have started my life watching films. So, for me to reconnect with an audience in a cinema hall with 300 people sitting like this watching a film, appreciating a performance, me getting to see those videos and then getting messages from people I don’t know. I think sometimes that is a very powerful thing to get feedback from people you don’t know,” he added.
Arjun’s portrayal of Danger Lanka has struck a chord with audiences, earning him recognition and reaffirming his place in the industry. As the love continues to pour in, it’s evident that his performance in Singham Again has left a lasting impact.
