Anurag Kashyap flaunts his “Family pack” in bathtub scene from Bad Cop: “My character in Kazbe is not Tiger Shroff”

Produced by Fremantle India, directed by Aditya Datt, and written by Rensil D’Silva, Gulshan Devaiah and Anurag Kashyap’s Bad Cop is a complete mass entertainer and set to stream exclusively on the platform, June 21, 2024 onwards. Bad Cop has been reimagined for India by Fremantle India from RTL’s original German drama of the same name.

Anurag Kashyap is known for his versatile roles, but taking on Kazbe in Bad Cop pushed him beyond his comfort zone. He knew this character was something special, a mix of fear, danger, and quirky charm. To truly capture Kazbe’s essence, Kashyap had to step out of his comfort zone and give it his all.

Talking about the same, Anurag Kashyap said, “Aditya once came up to me and said, there is a bathtub scene, would you be okay to take off your clothes and I agreed, he said my tummy would be visible, jokingly I told him that we should more of it as it looks funny and that’s exactly what Kazbe is about, he doesn’t care how looks. My character in Kazbe is not Tiger Shroff.”

He further added, “Kazbe doesn’t care whether his six packs are showing or not. Kazbe has a family pack. He’s a real villain and he’s not self-conscious. I didn’t want Kazbe to be self-conscious either and say let me lose weight and then I’ll show you my body. It was the way it was. It looks scary, it looks funny and the audience will enjoy.”
