Anupama: Alisha Parveen reacts to reports about Rupali Ganguly being the reason behind her exit; says, “Maybe yes, maybe no, I don’t know”

With many actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna, and others moving on, the show Anupama has been witnessing many changes. The recent shocking news was when Alisha Parveen, who was introduced only a few weeks ago, was replaced overnight. The actress played the leading role of Raahi, alias Choti Anu aka Aadhya. While her character and chemistry with Shivam Kajuria aka Prem was widely appreciated, the actress has now been replaced by Adrija Roy, who was last seen as Palki in Kundali Bhagya.

Amid many reports about her sudden exit, some reports hinted at Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular role in Anupama, being responsible. In the past, many actors like Madalsa Sharma, Nidhi Shah, Paras Kalnawat, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others hinted at the actress being the reason behind them quitting the show. Meanwhile, when Alisha Parveen was recently questioned about the same, she told India Forums, “Maybe yes, maybe no, I don’t know. Maybe nothing. Ab main kuch nahi jaanti toh main kuch keh nahi sakti iss barey mein. Par logo ka experience reh chuka hai Aisa toh (now, I can’t say anything about this. But if people have experienced like this in the past then…), But I shared a very professional bond with her”.

Furthermore, the actress also expressed her shock as she was suddenly informed of her decision and also mentioned that she was given the reason that it was due to unsatisfactory performance. “Rajan sir only said that we are replacing you. He just gave me the reason that there is a problem in your performance. I do not know ke performance ka reason kyun?” she asked. Meanwhile, her social media fam have expressed their disappointment over the decision and have also shared their love for her chemistry with Shivam Kajuria.
