Animal Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor starrer crosses the Rs. 800 cr mark at the worldwide box office

The much talked about and keenly anticipated release Animal hit screens weeks ago on December 1. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial that opened on a thunderous note has proved to be unstoppable. After fast blowing past major box office milestones, Animal that created a frenzy among the audience has managed to hold its own in theatres week after week. Now, after 16 days running, the business of Animal at the worldwide box office has managed to cross the Rs. 800 cr mark.

Collecting Rs. 514.09 cr net and Rs. 612.01 cr gross from the domestic market alone, Animal witnessed a further Rs. 221.1 cr more coming in from the overseas markets. With this the worldwide total collections of the film stand at a staggering Rs. 833.21 cr. Interestingly, with Animal now crossing the Rs. 800 cr mark, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has emerged as the third highest worldwide grosser of 2023.

Coming in just behind the Shah Rukh Khan starrers Jawan and Pathaan that had collected Rs. 1148.32 cr, and Rs. 1050.3 cr respectively at the worldwide box office, Animal has managed to surpass the Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 that had collected Rs. 691.08 cr.

As of now, Animal that has managed to hold the audience’s attention is expected to see further growth over the coming days. However, trade predictions state that the business of the film could see a dip in collections with the imminent release of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki.
