The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal hit screens worldwide last week on Friday to a thunderous response from the audience. With positive reviews, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial that also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna saw its collections grow exponentially over its opening weekend in both the domestic and international markets. In fact, Animal despite being a non-holiday release that came with an Adults Only certification has proved to be unstoppable at the box office, blowing past the Rs. 100 cr, Rs. 200 cr, and even the Rs. 400 cr. mark at the worldwide box office.
Now, on the cusp of entering the Rs. 500 cr. club at the worldwide box office, we look at the business of Animal while comparing the same to Ranbir Kapoor’s previous releases that have struck gold at the worldwide box office. Currently, Animal, which has proved to be unstoppable at the box office, continues its march with audience patronizing the film in droves. Given the current trend, trade predictions state that the business of Animal will continue to see further growth. In fact, certain estimates state that Animal could in all likelihood eventually emerge as Ranbir Kapoor’s highest worldwide grossing surpassing the business of Sanju as well.
