The Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga film, Animal, is operating at a rampage mode at the box office in India. After collecting Rs. 338.63 crore in its opening week, Animal has collected Rs. 37 crores on its second Saturday, taking the All-India total collection to approx. Rs. 399 crores.
This is a record for a feature film as Animal has scored the biggest second Saturday in the history of Hindi Cinema. The Ranbir Kapoor film has defeated all-time blockbusters like Pathaan [Rs. 23.25 cr.], Jawan [Rs. 32.30 cr.], Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion [Rs. 26.50 cr.] and Gadar 2 [Rs. 31.07 cr.], and that too by a decent margin, which speaks about the kind of run the film has got at the box office.
Talking of Hindi nett, Animal has collected in the range of Rs. 35 crores and the Tamil-Telugu versions clocking approx. Rs. 2.5 crores on Day 9.
Animal is all set to score even bigger records in the second weekend as well as the second week and is likely to clock approx. Rs. 100 crores in its second weekend. Animal is the most spoken about and appreciated film of 2023 as these numbers are coming in with an A Rating and prolonged run time of 3 hours and 21 minutes.
