The much-spoken-about Ranbir Kapoor film, Animal, has set the box office on fire as early estimates indicate 6th day collection in the range of Rs. 30 to 32 crores, taking the total collections to Rs. 313 crores. The film has become a rage in the audiences and is not looking to stop anytime soon. Even on the weekdays, the film is running at record occupancy all across the board, and it seems to be on the way to creating history in the long run.
On the sixth day, Animal collected approx. Rs. 27.50 crore in Hindi and another Rs. 3.75 crore in the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions, taking All India total to Rs. 31.25 crores. The film has created a new record of sorts with 6 back-to-back 30 crore days. Animal has attained this feat without a single holiday, and it’s a record that will stay unchallenged for years to come.
The film is continuing with its dream run in both single-screens and multiplexes and given the unprecedented conversation around the content, will be looking to scale new heights in the second weekend. All Time Records are expected to call under the name of Animal in the second weekend and almost all records would have been under its name in the first week too if not for a clash with Sam Bahadur.
