Animal Advance Booking Report: Ranbir Kapoor starrer sells close to 120,000 tickets for Day 1

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal made heads turn right when its announcement video was out, much before the film went on floors. Ranbir Kapoor’s powerful dialogues played the trick there. Ever since, the anticipation for the film kept growing. And once its trailer was out last week, the excitement for the film reached a crescendo. Ranbir’s electrifying transformation as a man possessed for his obsessive love for his father, played by Anil Kapoor, is something that has shocked and amazed the audience.

Animal’s high anticipation is also visible from the positive advance booking the film has taken so far for its first day on December 1. As per latest information available to us, the movie has sold 97,000 tickets at PVR Inox outlets and 22,500 tickets at Cinepolis chains. The total comes down to an impressive 119,500 tickets being sold for the opening day. Apart from these theatres, Animal has sold over 10,000 tickets and 4,100 tickets for the first day at Miraj and Movie Max cinemas till around 3:15 pm.

One should note that these are the sales of tickets only at the two aforementioned cinema chains and it doesn’t include the sales of tickets at other multiplex chains and single screen theatres across the country.

Apart from Ranbir and Anil, Bobby Deol’s appearance from the trailer has also turned out to be impressive. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri.
