Anil Kapoor pays tribute to National heroes on Indian Air Force Day, shares pic of his role from Fighter

Anil Kapoor, who broke box office record with his film Fighter in which he played the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jaisingh aka Rocky, took to social media on Indian Air Force Day. “On this Indian Air Force Day, my heartfelt salute to the heroes who soar high, keeping our skies safe. I’ve had the honor of meeting and befriending incredible individuals from the Indian Air Force, and their dedication continues to inspire. Here’s to a future where even more young Indians join this elite force and make it stronger than ever. #IndianAirForceDay #SaluteToOurHeroes,” the actor wrote along with a picture of himself as Rocky.

Released in January 2024, Fighter quickly became the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, captivating audiences with its narrative, cast, and strong message of patriotism. In this aerial action thriller, Kapoor plays a high-ranking air force officer, showcasing his screen presence and versatility. His authoritative role added depth to the film as he embodied the complexities of leadership and duty.

Currently, Kapoor has become the talk of the town due to his global recognition. His hit OTT series The Night Manager recently received an Emmy nomination, and he was featured on TIME’s 100 AI list for speaking out against the misuse of artificial intelligence. He also won an IIFA for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Balbir Singh in Animal.
